This week Mirvish announced that Canada’s Chilina Kennedy will be returning to Toronto to reprise her role as Carole King. Kennedy will be joining the touring cast for the Toronto stop of Beautiful’s National Tour straight from leading the Broadway production!
I was extremely lucky to see Chilina Kennedy as Carole in 2017. Her portrayal of Carole King’s journey is powerful, touching, and inspirational. There is genuinely nothing like it, and her performance is not to be missed.
Beautiful: The Carole King Musical follows the story of one of the music industry's brightest stars. It tracks Carole's journey from a young girl from Brooklyn with a dream, to an international sensation.
Beautiful will run at the Princess of Wales Theatre for a limited engagement from April 9th to May 5th!
