Tony Awards Nominations 2019

The nominations for the 73rd Tony Award Ceremony were announced this morning, kicking off the countdown to Broadway’s biggest night!             The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre (often referred to as the “Tony”), is considered the most prestigious award in the American Theatre. The award was founded by The American Theatre Wing in 1947 to recognize those who showed “distinguished stage acting and technical achievement” and is named after actress, director, and performer, Antoinette Perry.

            The 73rd Tony Awards will be held at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on June 9th, 2019. The ceremony will also be broadcast live on CBS.
