The 75th Annual Tony Awards

On June 12th, 2022 the 75th Annual Tony Awards will return to Radio City Musical Hall and for the first time ever, be broadcast coast to coast in a four hour event for live television and streaming. The ceremony will begin at 7PM EST, with exclusive content on Paramount Plus+, then the awards presentation beginning at 8PM EST, both on Paramount Plus+ and CBS. Darren Criss and Julianne Hough will be hosting the exclusive content on Paramount Plus+, and the ceremony itself will be led by Academy Award Winner and Tony nominee, Ariana DeBose.

The Antoinette Perry Award for Excellence in Broadway Theatre (often referred to as the “Tony”), is considered the most prestigious award in the American Theatre. The award was founded by The American Theatre Wing in 1947 to recognize those who showed “distinguished stage acting and technical achievement” and is named after actress, director, and performer, Antoinette Perry.
